What personal data is handled, why, for how long, and how to have it deleted.
Effective 待補. This notice covers the lade.pneumatheorem.org website, the application, and purchases made through the store.
Who is responsible
PneumaTheorem, Inc., a corporation incorporated in Delaware, United States, operated from Taiwan by one person. Correspondence to kevin@pneumatheorem.org.
The application
The application collects nothing. It creates no account and no identifier, sends no telemetry, and reports no usage or sales figures. It makes no network request in the course of normal operation.
Images you supply in own-image mode are read from your machine and processed there. They are not uploaded, and no copy of them is received here.
This website
No cookies are set, no analytics is run, and no third-party request is made. Fonts and images are served from this domain. Nothing about your visit is transmitted anywhere.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record. Your email address and payment details are given to Gumroad under its own privacy policy; card details are never seen or held here. What is received here is the record of which item was sold and the purchaser's email address, for delivery and support.
Correspondence
Whatever an email contains — address, name, and the content of the message. It is used to answer you and for nothing else. It is not sold, not shared, and no marketing is sent.
Where it is processed
By a company incorporated in the United States, and in practice from Taiwan, where the operator is resident. This is stated as a fact about where the work happens so that you can take it into account.
How long it is kept
Purchase records are kept as long as a business is required to keep them. Correspondence that does not lead to a purchase is kept only as long as the exchange is live.
All of it is deleted on written request, subject to records that must be retained by law.
Your rights
You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Requests are answered within a reasonable period and without charge. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes, the effective date above changes with it.
